Dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with mental illness and their families through support, education, and advocacy.

OUR GOALS
Advocate at the county, state and national levels for non-discriminatory access to quality healthcare, housing , education and employment for people with mental illness.
Educate the public about mental illness.
Work to eliminate the stigma of mental illness.
Advocate for increased funding for research into the causes and treatment of mental illness.

Crossings Addiction Recovery, Inc. provide addiction recovery therapy in a residential group setting. Crossings understands how family, friendships, and career can suffer from the disruption of addiction. Crossings helps addicts reclaim their life, relationships, respect and the reasons for waking up each day with renewed life purpose. Recovery is a journey, so is Crossings.

First Haven provides psychological self-help information to those who have experienced sexual abuse. We produce and distribute our flagship guide, Tending the Wound Sexual Abuse: An Introduction, to agencies, institutions, and organizations directly serving those most in need.

Wilkes Recovery Revolution, Inc. is creating a community where recovery from addiction and co-occurring mental health is possible through; restoring hope, repairing lives, and rebuilding community.

We are a grassroots harm reduction organization providing outreach, advocacy, and direct services to those impacted by drug use, incarceration, sex work, overdose, and HIV/HCV in a judgement-free environment.

Eliza’s Helping Hands is a Winston-Salem-based minority-women-led non-profit focused on serving men, women, and children affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and other violent crimes.

Addiction Professionals of North Carolina is a membership organization that promotes the professional development for professionals in our state that work in the field of substance use disorder, prevention, treatment and recovery. We do this by providing professional networking opportunities, offering free and reduced prices on regional training workshops, conference displays and registrations. We also provide newsletters to our members that allow professionals to stay updated on current policies as well as provide various other benefits to our individual and organizational members.
